sticks to the rhythm of the Italian School of Peace
On May 16 the Italian School took part in Nordic walking, with nearly 50 people, including nordic walkers and trainers the 16th edition of the Peace March from Perugia to Assisi.
The bright green trees along the road, so a ray of sunshine that breaks through the clouds still thick with rain, the smiles and the eyes of those walking beside me ... all made to feel the atmosphere of serenity that the March for represents peace.
sticks to beat to the rhythm of the heart and the red T-shirts to represent once again the passion and desire to be together ... so began the first experience of the Italian School Nordic Walking the 16th March for Peace Perugia -Assisi! Our walkers have raised curiosity among the more than 100,000 participants and led the harmony of Nordic walking on the path of peace and sharing.
Along the route of about twenty km - which connects the city of Perugia S. Francis and went through towns and beautiful views of the Umbrian countryside green shoots of wheat and red poppies in 1000 - the gentle tapping of sticks accompanied the drummers chanted hints of reggae music, the voices of the scouts that they resumed the old partisan songs the words of peace brought by refugees from around the world and young people from other countries and other cultures.
Peace is told through the banners, the banners, the banners, the colors of the School soar upwards held by several bishops who have alternated along the way: Adrian Franco, Ivo have long stretches cross their fingers to show the world the peace that Nordic Walking is present.
Along the way many television cameras and journalists have spotted us and asked: why are you here? What brings you to participate in the march? What is Peace for you? When they asked me what we do to build peace, I immediately thought of asking the question of reserves ... but then I was just thinking about the spirit that had led me this far and has come easy for us to say that peace is sharing ... of moments, ideas, projects for us ... peace is to talk and, above all, listen!
The rain that greets us in the final stretch heading towards S. Maria degli Angeli feels a little push in the wet and sticks to the rhythm of Modena City Ramblers ...
1-2-3-100 steps ... it sounds like a hymn to the Nordic not only a complaint ...

Someone approached me, we're almost there, I whispered a "thank Ale, today I have permission to experience a great emotion! "
I think it's true ... we have lived and participated in a great emotion, but authors of this ... we were all in a beautiful and rewarding teamwork!
Fabio Pino ... and that helped me to organize the participation in the march on behalf of the Italian School, demonstrating once again how even small dreams (like mine) are here, and space can be achieved.
Adriano, Anthony, Emily, Ida, Ivo, Paola ... each has its problems and we worked - well! - Together, showing that the work and sharing are born and develop major projects.
Cecili ... to giving visibility to our presence for peace before, during and after the March and has made known new friends who have helped to give news of our movement, our passion, our group.
... and then all the "marchers with Bachet," friends who have had to forfeit the last moment and those who had other commitments back home ... the contribution of the emotion and joy of being the voice of peace belongs to everyone!
It was a great day of celebration and it was a memorable experience that will live long in the memories and souls of those who participated. And it's still a great desire to share it again moments and feelings so strong and intense: the Italian School Nordic Walking will meet again and give all for next March for Peace ... and more and more colorful!
Many friends can say "I was there" but even friends can say "I'll be there."
